CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – 5 Star Media Group/Saga Communications is thrilled to announce the appointment of Chad Heritage as Program Director of Beaver 100.3, a flagship radio station in the Clarksville/Hopkinsville market. Heritage started in his new role on June 27, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a deep passion for the country music format.
Heritage joins the 5 Star team after an extensive career in country radio. Most recently, he served as the Program Director for WGKX (Kix 106) in Memphis. Prior to his tenure at WGKX, Heritage was Program Director at KSSN/KMJX and served as the Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeart in Little Rock, Arkansas. Additionally, he also served as National Brand Coordinator at iHeart, showcasing his exceptional talent and expertise in the field.
“Chad brings an incredible level of experience to the role, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him join our team,” said Ryan Ploeckelman, Operations Manager of 5 Star Media Group. “His unwavering dedication to the country format and his exceptional ability to coach and inspire talent are precisely what we need to take Beaver 100.3 to new heights.”
Heritage will play a pivotal role in leading Beaver 100.3’s programming strategy, ensuring that the station continues to provide high-quality content and serve the communities of Clarksville, Hopkinsville and Fort Campbell. In addition to his role on Beaver, he’ll be Program Director for Z97.5, and he’ll be on-air on Beaver from 2-7 p.m. daily.
“I love the outdoors – hiking, fishing and kayaking – so this is the perfect spot for me here in Tennessee and Kentucky,” Heritage said. “With that being said, the main reason I moved here is because I get the opportunity to work with an incredible team and such a great company.”
